Chuvash State Medical University


Chuvash State University is a classical university in the city of Cheboksary in Chuvash Republic of Russian Federation. Chuvash State University has branches in the cities of Canas and Alatyr, as well as in the Chuvash State University in Batyrevo village of Chuvash Republic. On September 5, 1967 by the Order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the USSR established the Chuvash State University on the basis of the Volga branch of the Moscow energy Institute. The first academic year started with 7 faculties. In 1968 faculties of Electrical Industry and Electrification were introduced , followed by physics and mathematics departments. In 1980 Chuvash State University opened representative offices in the regions of the Chuvash Republic. In 2012 Chuvash State University received Level IV accreditation. Today chuvash State Univeristy has 115 depatments with 750 members of teaching staff. Till date Chuvash state University has trained around 19000 students.

Hostel


University has its own hostel separate for girls and boys. All the hostels are equipped with CCTV for the safety of the students. It has free Wi-Fi, 24 hrs heater & hot water facilities. All the floors of hostel have a big kitchen and students can cook as they wish with no extra charges. The hostel rooms can be shared by 2 or 3 students as per student’s choice. It is fully furnished with beds, study tables, cupboard. Hostel has many washing machines for students to wash their clothes. No outside person is allowed to enter the hostel without the permission from Dean Office.

Canteen & its food

Food is very important for students while studying a course like MBBS. “Empty stomach can’t concentrate”. Yash overseas manages its own Indian mess with two Indian /Nepali Chefs. Our canteen serves unlimited food twice a day. We are the only canteen in Russia where Indian food is served and that too Wheat flour Roti. The canteen has two separate sections VEG and NON VEG and both foods cooked separately.

Class Rooms


The classrooms are well equipped with all the necessary technologies such as microscopes, skeletons, projectors, Wi-Fi, round table, and practical specimens. The class room consists of 12-15 students only. The ratio between teacher and students is 1:12

Laboratory

The laboratory is well equipped with all the requirements for the practical in anatomy and other subjects.
