Accommodation 

Tver State Medical University has four specialised hostels which can accommodate more than 1800 students. Two of them are flat type i.e. with attached bathroom; toilet and kitchen. The hostels are centrally heated (air-conditioned) and fully furnished. The basic system is two or three students in one room.
Every hostel has internet facilities (Wifi and broadband). Students can get Indian food at the canteen of the hostel and access their native language TV channels (Hindi, Tamil etc.). All the hostels are well guarded with police security. Complete hygiene is maintained in the hostel premises to provide a conducive environment for studies to the students.
Library

More than 440000 books written by russian and foreign writers are available here. The library is associated to the world med line system where all information technology about the newest findings in medical field is updated. International students can study in Russian as well as in English Medium. TSMU Academy provides intensive Russian language course for all international students.

The university has all the necessary facilities and resources including its own dental clinic with 100 chairs. Some facilities are located at the leading medical and preventive treatment centers. The university boasts highly qualified teaching staff and the practice-oriented learning process.
Education.
The teachers use the following technologies: problem-based lectures, lectures with intensive feedback, case study lectures, master classes, the case method, computer programs and interactive atlases, creative tasks, participation in scientific and practical conferences. The educational process is practice-oriented.
Teaching staff. 
Training is provided by the highly qualified teaching staff including two Corresponding Members of the RussianAcademy of the Russian Federation, 46 Professors (including Honored Workers of Higher Education, Honored Doctors of the Russian Federation, Honored Workers of Science of the Russian Federation) as well as 122 Associate Professors and 201 Assistants.
